"When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves." - Viktor Frankl
How many times we want to change ourselves or others and find out it is difficult to do if not impossible. People often overlook simple things in life. Instead they seek the complicated and spend their time searching and accumulating more knowledge. Sometime they even look for external sources that considered as an expert to guide. They neglect to recognize that although they may understand something intellectually, the fruits will only come when one embodies it into his experience. It’s when the intellectual connects the dots with new aha moment. It is a piece of the puzzle falling into place.
If you are seeking to change your life, the starting point is becoming aware of where you are placing your attention. Consciousness always follows thought and your thoughts are made up of the beliefs that you have accepted as true. It is through these beliefs that you perceive your own personal world. Your attention could be a reflection of your fear and need. A void that has not been filled as gaps in your life. Fear is a future projection of something unreal felt true.
When you start to live in present moment and have your attention focused inwardly looking, listening and feeling your own preoccupation. That is the door opening into a new consciousness. That is the start of untapping your power inside.
